[unachievable]: advanced market option

Postby phg on Mon Mar 31, 2008 1:28 am

what i am thinking is an option to "send enough to build xxx" to a village...

example, village 1 has a lot of resources and village 2 has 2000 of each. you want to send enough resources to build something that costs 3000 of each, so TWEnhancer has an button "send enough to build lvl 25 clay pit, which would execute the command for you to send 1000 of each resource from 1 to 2.

it is just easy math but when the levels get higher i find myself miscalculating ;)

Well, I’m no code monkey, but, that would probably mean a button for every level, of every structure buildable. Though it sounds good on paper, it might be easier to do it manually.

Or did you mean like if there was a button that had, “send 1000, 2000, 3000, etc.” instead of one that only corresponds to how much you need to build a lvl 25 clay pit. Yes, they don’t go up that high, but the principle of it still remains.

Well, yes you could do that Sun, but isn’t there already a dropdown menu when sending resources?
Its suppose to remember what you typed into the bar, so you don’t have to type it again.

would mean we'd need to cache all the different resource requirements for buildings at different levels and the levels of the buildings currently in the village.. not realistic I don't think

Yea really not a realistic feature... :S A pain to code it and then eventually probably one that is barely important or impressive :S
